Many people including students trying to meet their grades find themselves too busy these days, which cause them stressed-up. The reasons vary from person to person.

Unlike good stress, bad stress is anything that poses a challenge or a threat to our well-being is a stress. Some stresses get us going and they are good for us - without any stress at all our lives would be boring and would probably feel pointless. However, when the stresses undermine both our mental and physical health they are bad.
When we are stressed the following happens:
  • Blood pressure rises
  • Breathing becomes more rapid
  • Digestive system slows down
  • Heart rate (pulse) rises
  • Immune system goes down
  • Muscles become tense
  • We do not sleep (heightened state of alertness)
Consider the following important points:

Maintaining a healthy diet and staying fit is a good thing to do. This is because, even if we know what we’re supposed to be eating, there are additional factors that influence how much and what type of food we consume. One of these factors is stress, which is linked to increase emotional eating. We must manage it.

·        Wrong Attitude Significantly Increases Your Stress Level
We all experience stress, but the pessimists, perfectionists, and those with 'type A' personalities (to name a few) greatly increase the level of stress they experience in a given event, and even bring more stressful events into their lives with their self sabotage thought and behavior patterns.

For instance, a certain type of stress is actually necessary and beneficial for a balanced and exciting life. This is the type of stress you experience when you're riding a roller-coaster (if you enjoy fast rides), are playing a fun game, or are falling in love. This makes us feel vital and alive.
